Unzipping Compressed Files

Files downloaded from the Internet, in the interest of providing the fastest transfer rate possible, are often compressed using special compression utility applications that stuff many files into a single zipped file.

Once these zip files have been downloaded, they then need to be decompressed, or unzipped. There are several compression applications available for download online that can be used to open zipped files, and they are, for the most part, free. Here's where you can get to them:
