You can find many interesting and wonderful things on the Internet and museum websites and art exhibitions rate near the top of our list. It can never replace standing in front of a piece of artwork, artifact or cultural icon, and staring in wonderment, but it is the next best thing to being there. Some exhibits are long gone and this might be your only chance to see them. Or if you only know of a museum by it's reputation, you'll have a chance to see what's represented in their exhibits. And who knows, you may find yourself so inspired that you'll make the trip to see the real thing.
