(PITTSBURGH, PA) On April 23, 2001, an interview with Joan Osborne conducted by Internet Insider Radio host David Radin, is being featured on WindowsMedia.com, the fifth most visited media website in the world. It will be the first of a series of interviews taken from Internet Insider that will be featured on Microsoft's showcase for media talent.
The Joan Osborne interview is being run as a three part interview on three consecutive dates (April 23, 24, 25) and contains revealing information about the artist, her endeavor as an editor on the web, and Joan belting out a few bars of a classic Beatles tune that she has never recorded.
"In talking with the producers at Microsoft, we realized that we have some great content that would work perfectly in their featured sections of WindowsMedia.com" said host, David Radin, who is also the President of The Insider Radio Network, a network of 300+ radio stations that carry Internet Insider or other shows produced by the company.
The Microsoft arrangement will continue with a number of other specially featured segments on WindowsMedia.com, including interviews with best-selling author Barbara Taylor Bradford, Ed McMahon, and Suzanne Somers.
"We've been producing amazing programs for radio stations for several years already. This arrangement with Microsoft is another indication of just how good these programs are, and how they transcend the medium of radio." said Dean Trew, the head of radio operations for the network. "Based on discussions we've already had with other companies, we expect more companies to approach us to re-purpose, broadcast or webcast our offerings."
Internet Insider has already won two awards, and has been finalist for four prestigious A.I.R. Awards including two for best talk show host and one for best talk show, and has been named Pick of the Week dozens of times by Yahoo.
Internet Insider is one of the radio shows from The Insider Radio Network. Other shows include "The Megabyte" (a daily version of Internet Insider), and two new offerings: "Road Warriors" (a daily show aimed at mobile professionals), and "BizTech" (a daily show featuring business technologies and techniques). Over 300 radio stations throughout North America carry Insider Radio Network programming reaching over 2 million average quarter hour adult listeners. The company offers cost-effective sponsorship packages for most of its shows.
