Stop Those Dangerous Viruses!

The Love Bug. New Love. Pretty Park. Melissa. Chernobyl. Code Red. SirCam

You've heard at least some of these names, especially recently. These are the names of some of the most vicious computer viruses released to date. The first two in the list circulated within two weeks of each other, spamming themselves across the globe and disabling millions of systems.

  • 3-20-01 Injustice (VBS Staple.a) - A virus with a political twist.

  • 3-6-01 The Naked Wife Virus - Another dangerous experiment in social engineering.
